In order to convince people to take it, the government is putting out a bit of misinformation, so that they can scare people into taking it, so that the world can go back to normal as soon as possible, which would then allow the rich people to start making their loads of money again, because they have finally managed to get the slaves back to work.
Because of how confusing the information that is out there is, he was not really clear on how the vaccine actually worked, so I decided to try to give him an analogy related to how the virus is like a secret agent, that has been given the task of invading a country to do some damage.
